Tour the app

Tour the main Ampere app areas, including Home, Chats, Tools Catalog, Projects, Scheduled Tasks, Library, and settings.

Last verified 2 days ago

Use this tour when you are signed in and want to understand where the main Ampere app areas live. Ampere is organized around a simple loop: start work with Joule or an AI Tool, give the work reusable context, review outputs, and manage the organization that owns the work.

You do not need to visit every page before starting. Use this article to choose the right starting point.

Ampere Home with the sidebar navigation, Joule composer, and starter task cards.
Home and the sidebar give new users the main app map: start with Joule, open Chats, browse Tools Catalog, manage Projects, review Scheduled Tasks, and use Library or Settings when needed.

Home

Home is the fastest place to start with Joule. It shows the prompt composer, model and machine controls, and starter tasks for common marketing work.

Use Home when you want to describe a goal in plain English, choose a starter task, or begin a new Joule session without first opening a specific project or tool.

Good first tasks are focused: one campaign angle, one content outline, one visual direction, one research request, or one asset to draft. If the work belongs to a brand, campaign, client, or launch, set up or select the right project first.

Chats

Chats opens the full Joule workspace. This is where you review conversations, continue previous sessions, inspect workspace files, use browser or preview panes when available, and work through longer tasks.

Use Chats when you want more room than Home gives you, or when you are returning to a session that already has messages, files, outputs, or follow-up work.

Tools Catalog

Tools Catalog is the authenticated catalog of AI Tools and workflows. Use it when you already know the kind of task you want to run, such as image generation, public research, transcription, video, voice, or a focused data workflow.

The catalog is useful when you want to search, filter, compare, favorite, or run a specific AI Tool directly. If you want Ampere to help decide the steps for a broader marketing outcome, start with Joule instead.

Projects

Projects keeps reusable context together for a brand, campaign, client, launch, product, or content series. A project can include a project brief, uploaded source files, generated files, project-specific chats, and reusable assets.

Use Projects when the same context should carry into future work. For example, a launch project might hold the audience, voice, guardrails, source files, saved brand assets, and the Joule sessions related to that launch.

Scheduled Tasks

Scheduled Tasks is where your organization manages recurring supported catalog runs. It is for repeatable work that should run again on a schedule, such as a supported AI Tool or workflow that your team wants to revisit regularly.

Use Scheduled Tasks for recurring supported catalog runs inside Ampere. Review scheduled outputs the same way you review manually started AI work.

Library

Library opens reusable creative assets such as Custom Voices and AI Avatars. These are organization-level assets your team can reuse when the work needs a saved voice or avatar.

Use Library when the asset itself is the thing you want to create, manage, preview, or reuse. Use Projects when the asset should live as context for a specific campaign, client, or launch.

Settings

Settings contains organization controls such as general organization details, team access, billing, and usage. Depending on your workspace and enabled features, owners or admins may also see additional organization controls.

Use Settings when you need to manage teammates, roles, billing, credits, invoices, usage, or organization-level configuration. If you do not see an option, your role or workspace settings may not include that area.

Search and command palette

Use the app search or command palette when you know where you want to go but do not want to click through the sidebar. It can help you find navigation, actions, appearance controls, and catalog results from one place.

Search is especially useful once your organization has more projects, tools, and saved work than you can scan at a glance.

Where to start

If you are new to Ampere, use this order:

  1. Open Home and try a focused Joule prompt or starter task.
  2. Open Projects if the work should remember brand, campaign, client, or launch context.
  3. Open Tools Catalog when you want to run a specific AI Tool directly.
  4. Return to Chats when you need to continue or review Joule work.
  5. Use Settings when you need to check team access, billing, usage, or organization controls.

You can move between these areas as the work changes. The important part is to keep reusable context in the right place and review outputs before you publish, share, or rely on them.
