Joule workspace setup is simpler

Every new Joule run now starts with the same balanced workspace setup, without a size choice to manage.

Rolling out now — you'll see this soon if you don't already.

What's new

New Joule sessions, scheduled-task runs, and Monitor follow-ups now start with one balanced workspace setup automatically. Size controls have been removed from these flows, so you no longer need to estimate capacity before briefing the work.

Your model, effort, schedule, project, and attachments still work the same way. Existing work can continue, while new and restored work uses the shared setup as the change rolls out.

Why it matters

Most marketing briefs should begin with the job itself, not an infrastructure decision. A consistent workspace gives Joule the same baseline for interactive and recurring work, reduces setup choices, and makes the experience easier to understand across chats, scheduled tasks, and Monitoring.

Scheduled tasks and Monitor follow-ups previously used a smaller workspace. As this improvement rolls out, the workspace portion of credit use for some recurring runs can increase. Total credit use still depends on run duration and the other work performed, and you can review actual usage in Workspace settings.

Where to find it

Start a new Joule session from Home, create or edit a scheduled task, or configure a Monitor follow-up. There is no workspace-size field to choose; Ampere applies the shared setup automatically.
